Dr. Richard Timm

Dr. Richard Timm has a vision and a passion for providing extraordinary dental care for his patients. He strives to provide the best information available to keep help patients well informed of the many advantages modern dentistry has to offer.
Dr. Timm grew up in North St. Paul and Maplewood, where he attended North St. Paul Sr. High School and the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology. It was there that Dr. Timm realized the importance of being involved with his community through volunteer work. His dedication to his community is evident in the quality of care All Family Dental provides to its patients.
Dr. Timm participates in many activities in the community and is particularly involved in the Boy Scouts. He is a past chairman of the Indianhead Scouting Council’s Gateway District and now serves as a Unit Commissioner for the Great Rivers Scouting District of the Northern Star Council. Dr. Timm and his three sons were members of the Boy Scout Troop 240, where all three sons received the rank of Eagle Scout. As a community member, Dr. Timm is involved with the Oakdale Area Chamber of Commerce where he has also served as a Past President. Dr. Timm currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Chamber. In addition to these roles, Dr. Timm has volunteered as a soccer, baseball, and basketball coach at the Oakdale Athletic Association. Volunteering his time planting trees for the Oakdale Tree Board and participating in local highway pickup as a member of the Oakdale Gun Club are more true expressions of his commitment to his community. Dr. Timm is also past Chairman of the Oakdale Holiday Helping Hand program for those in need during the holidays.
Dr. Timm has had the privilege to travel to Guatemala for a second time on a dental mission. The mission trips allow Dr. Timm to use his skills to provide much-needed dental care to the local population. He has also taken over 2,000 hours of continuing dental education to best serve the interests and needs of his patients.
Dr. Timm currently resides in Oakdale with his wife and their four children. Whenever Dr. Timm has spare time, he enjoys spending it with his family. He also enjoys fishing, hunting, and all sports. He has even been known to golf (although poorly) a few times each year.
